Heather Day - (Producer/Director) A Heather Day (Founder): Heather has been involved in the art of acting and theatre from a very tender age. A Graduate of the Actor's Workshop in Boston, Massachusetts (2000), Heather has performed in such classics as "Cat On a Hot Tin Roof", "Macbeth", "Richard III", "Akhmatova", "Sister My Sister", and "Don't Drink The Water". Heather also had an ensemble role in Saint John's 2005 Shakespeare Festival production of "Julius Caesar". Her Film experience includes "The Strangler's Wife" and a film short titled, "Bliss". Heather ventured into the realm of directing, producing and creating by founding the theatre company TeatroGatos in 2005. "Hurly Burly" launched the company in fall 2005. Heather went on directing and producing in 2006 with the summer production of "Closer." Along with directing and producing both the plays, she acted in "Hurly Burly" as well. Out
side the domain of theatre, Heather studied Psychology (1992-1994) at
Montreal's Dawson College, which is incorporated into her style of directing
and performing. She also has worked in the field of photography but theatre
is her main passion. Heather's commitment to the stage is immense. She's
been involved in all aspects of the theatre from the costumes to set design,
to fund raising and advertising. Her heart, however remains on the stage,
performing. She has just finished the summer's hit production of Bash!
